Careers

Treating our staff well isn’t just about receiving monetary benefits - we care about our people and we notice talent. We want to progress and develop everyone, whilst keeping our core family values at our heart.

Progression

Training programmes and yearly reviews are a big part of progression at P&B – we want you to keep growing with us and we will offer you the training you need to get there.

Our director will always tell new staff to ‘Run your department as if it is your own business’. This means managers have the flexibility and responsibility to develop and learn with help and advice when needed, and new talent can make a real impact on the business.

We also strongly believe in bringing young people into the Agricultural industry – so much so, we work with AGCO to support an apprenticeship programme that coaches the next generation into committed and skilled staff.

Loyalty

We have staff members that have been with us for over 20 years! Some starting as apprentices or even as Saturday workers.

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society recently presented ‘Long Service Awards’ to those staff at Peacock & Binnington that have pledged many years to the Agricultural Industry, that speaks volumes about those employees and our company.

Social & Community

We believe in ‘doing our bit’ in the communities local to our 6 branches. From tractor runs, Young Farmer events and children’s football clubs to charity events and educating youngsters with tractor visits.

Our current Charity Partner is Lincolnshire Rural Support Network who do truly great things within our communities.

As well as supporting charitable events, our team get the chance to support P&B at the countries biggest agricultural shows on our award winning trade stands – we attend 3 shows a year: Lincolnshire Show, Driffield Show & Ryedale Show, so there’s plenty to do!

Family

Peacock & Binnington started as a family run business and that’s the way we want it to stay, no matter how far we span or how many staff we employ. Working at Peacock & Binnington, you represent more than just a number, you’re an individual with a career.

To celebrate hard work, we hold an annual, all expenses paid, staff party to say thank you and get the whole P&B family together for a good catch up. Going above and beyond is always recognised, and to top it off, some even say that our staff are the friendliest bunch around!

Employee Testimonial

“My favourite thing about working at P&B is the feeling of togetherness within the team.

Every day I feel supported by my colleagues – by working together and sharing ideas, I always feel motivated to be the best I can be!

A highlight of working here for me is when we all come together for the annual shows, I am proud to work for P&B.”
