For the last 124 years, Peacock & Binnington have proudly supported our local farming community. Each year we feel the pressure to ensure our depots have space and manpower to meet the needs of our valued customers.
With that in mind, Corringham branch manager; Clive Parker is pleased to announce that the Corringham depot is expanding. Following on from the recent acquisition of land to the rear and side of the depot we are going to be investing significantly in the premises and staff at Corringham.
In the coming months, the workshop will be gaining a new member of staff to allow Ken to undertake a greater volume of work whilst maintaining the highest professional standards our customers have come to expect.
The size of our service department will be expanding to ensure we can accommodate the increasing demand brought on by the volume of machines now being sold from the depot and to enable it to work smarter with the space available. Alongside this, the Parts department will increase in size to allow them to carry a larger selection of parts to ensure we can service the needs of our customers.
We firmly believe this investment shows the commitment Peacock & Binnington has to the farming community in the Corringham area.
In a news notice to staff, managing director Graham Main commented “It was decided at the recent Directors Meeting that we would invest in a workshop extension at Corringham. We have awarded the contract to Timmins, with the building, concreting outside, the extension of the parts store and finally getting a proper wash bay the invest shows the company’s commitment to the branch, customers and the continued success of Peacock & Binnington”.
