“Every time we went and visited the Louth branch, we used to see the iMOW out the front so we went into the branch and spoke to Ian.”
(Ian is the group iMOW specialist based at our Louth branch)
‘We talked about our garden size and needs and then he came to measure our garden and made sure there would be a safe docking area where the iMOW could go back and re-charge when he had done a hard day’s graft! The cable was then laid, and the iMOW was programmed and installed so that it knows the parameters of our garden.
The iMOW really takes the hassle out of cutting the grass, to do the front and back lawn it used to take me 3 hours with a normal mower. It’s also good to be able to leave it out and let it cut your grass when you go away. The machine cuts the grass very nicely, it has different height settings for the type of cutting you desire too. It came with spare blades so that’s a bonus.
The layout of the ground in our back garden took the iMOW a little to get used to, but it did have roots and apples to avoid, overall, it has done a good job.
‘He’ has done a fantastic job, we refer to him as he because we thought we would give him a little bit of personality, he moves around our garden so I thought he needed a driver. I
stuck one of my model pilots on top that I removed from one of my old model planes as well as sticking a little union jack on top!
When we bought the machine, the purchase included the servicing, installation, a service in February and a free STIHL FSA45 strimmer. Overall, the customer service was brilliant, just excellent! Even through these hard times, they have been brilliant. If we needed help with the app, they have gone out of their way to direct us, they even popped out to our home when we needed directions on how to use it or had a problem. We have just bought him back in for this year but we will take him to get serviced in February and get him back out cutting again. We are very pleased with it and it has been great for our garden, we highly recommend it. This would be great for someone who struggles to cut their own grass or hasn’t got the time, let it do all of the work!’
