From 1st October 2022, we aim to start the process of removing Fendt and Valtra from salesmen’s portfolio and we will have people solely assigned and dedicated to Fendt/Valtra (FV) sales across our existing territory, reporting to Chris Batcheler as our FV Brand Manager.
Naturally, your relationship is with your P&B sales representative for all products and you won’t be losing contact, as they will very much be part of the process and will be inviting the FV person along when you need to discuss future Fendt or Valtra requirements or issues with current machines.
The existing sales areas will be maintained with the territory salesmen responsible for the rest of their portfolio. Again we expect this will allow extra focus on MF, JCB, Väderstad, and Lemken, plus all the other franchises.
Our Fendt and Valtra territory will be split into 3 regions, Steven Carlill, who many have already met, covering the North (Selby and Halsham), Callum Clark is returning to P&B and is assigned to North Lincolnshire and Louth. We will be recruiting a further position to cover Corringham and the Isle/Doncaster plus another sales support/demonstrator role.
The aftersales structure will remain as it is with the customer still calling their local branch for all aftersales requirements, ensuring that we continue with the focused support expected from Peacock & Binnington.
We believe the products have become more and more technical and these changes will improve the experience of dealing with P&B to ensure we give you the very best service when purchasing a machine whilst retaining continuity with the aftersales team.
